علمت منظمة "هود" أن السلطات اﻷمنية اليمنية تسلمت صباح اليوم الثلاثاء
26/8/2014م سجينين يمنيين كانا محتجزين في قاعدة باجرام اﻷمريكية بأفغانستان،
وذكرت هود في بلاغ صحفي أن كلا من أمين محمد البكري وفادي أحمد المقالح من
ضحايا الحرب اﻷمريكية على مايسمى باﻹرهاب وأفرج عنهما في سياق الترتيبات
اﻷمريكية للانسحاب من أفغانستان، وسجن البكري والمقالح منذ عام 2002م دون أن
يدن أي منهما بحكم قضائي، و ورفعت لصالحهما قضايا أمام القضاء اﻷمريكي، وتم
تسلميهما للسلطات اليمنية قبل أن يُفصل في قضاياهم، وأعربت "هود" عن أملها في
أن تسرع السلطات اﻷمنية اليمنية في إجراءات اﻹفراج عنهما، وتطالب "هود" باﻹفراج
عن بقية المعتقلين اليمنيين في قاعدة غوانتنامو اﻷمريكية في كوبا الذين يقارب
عددهم التسعين يعانون ظروفا غير إنسانية ويقضون حياتهم في السجن دون إدانة من
أي نظام قضائي، وتحرمهم الولايات المتحدة من حقوقهم كمدنيين أو حتى كمحاربين
وفقا للقانون الدولي اﻹنساني، ويضطرون إلى اﻹضراب عن الطعام، احتجاجا على سوء
المعاملة وإهانة المقدسات اﻹسلامية من قبل سجانيهم، وتحرمهم السلطات أحيانا من
حقهم في اﻹتصال بذويهم عبر الصليب اﻷحمر كعقوبات إضافية.


Yemen Receives two Yemeni Bagram prisoners Al-Bakri and Al- Maqaleh

The National Organization for Defending Rights and Freedoms, HOOD, has been
informed today that two Yemeni prisoners at Bagram, Mr. Ameen Al-Bakri and
Fadi Al-Maqaleh were repatriate to Yemen this early morning. The Yemeni
Security has received both of the detainees but their whereabouts has not
been revealed yet.


In a press release, HOOD says that both Al-Bakri and Al-Maqaleh are
victims of the U.S. so-call "War on Terror". Both are released in the
context of the U.S. A. arrangements to withdraw from Afghanistan.



Meanwhile, HOOD urges the U.S.A. to set free the other 90 Yemeni detainees
at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp who are suffering an inhumane
treatment without facing any charge or trial.



Fadi Al-Maqaleh and Amin Al-Bakri have been in U.S. military custody for
nearly 11 years, and since 2003 they were both imprisoned in the U.S.
detention facility at Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan.



Ammen Al-Bakri had been held in Bagram facility since 2003, and that he
had been held in secret extrajudicial detention in the CIA's network of
black sites, prior to his transfer to Bagram. In 2008, His tribe in Yemen
declared their "solidarity" with al-Bakri and called for his release ever
since. Whereas Fadi Al-Maqaleh was seized outside of Afghanistan and
rendered to Bagram by agents of the United States. His family only learned
that their son was in U.S. military custody after receiving a letter via
the International Committee of the Red Cross ("ICRC") in or around 2003.
