الظواهري إلى محو إسرائيل عن الخارطة واصفاً إياها بأنها جريمة ضد
المسلمين، في حين أكد أن العرض الذي قدمه التنظيم للإدارة الأميركية
السابقة والذي يتضمن تهدئة مشروطة لا يزال مطروحاً على الطاولة أمام
الإدارة الحالية.
وقال الظواهري في تسجيل منسوب إليه بثته شركة السحاب على الإنترنت اليوم
إن "إسرائيل جريمة يجب أن تزال" متهماً الرئيس الأميركي باراك أوباما
بانتهاج سياسة "فاشلة" إزاء القضايا الإسرائيلية الفلسطينية، وأنه يريد
دولة فلسطينية تخدم كـ"امتداد لوكالة المخابرات المركزية الأميركية (سي
آي أي)".
إلا أن الرجل الثاني في القاعدة قال من ناحية أخرى إنه "إذا أراد أوباما
التوصل إلى تفاهم فعندئذ عليه أن يستجيب لعرضي الشيخ أسامة بن لادن" زعيم
تنظيم القاعدة، اللذين عرضهما على الرئيس السابق جورج بوش .
وكان بن لادن قال عام 2006 إن تنظيم القاعدة لا يمانع عرض تهدئة طويل
الأمد مع الولايات المتحدة تستند إلى شروط منصفة تلتزم بها القاعدة وتعرض
تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار وإعادة إعمار العراق وأفغانستان، إلا أن واشنطن
رفضت العرض قائلة إنها "لا تتفاوض مع إرهابيين".
وقد وصف الظواهري حملة أوباما الرامية إلى تخفيف التوترات مع المسلمين
التي ازدادت بعد حربي العراق وأفغانستان بأنها "محاولة لبيع الأوهام
للضعفاء" وقال إن أوباما "يحاول أن يقول لا تكرهونا.. لكننا سنواصل
قتلكم".
وكان الظواهري دعا أكثر من مرة في السابق لضرب أهداف إسرائيلية وغربية في
مختلف أنحاء العالم، كما اتهم الولايات المتحدة بالضلوع في العدوان
الإسرائيلي على قطاع غزة مطلع العام الجاري، معتبراً أنه "هدية أوباما
للفلسطينيين قبل أن يتولى منصبه".
